Reliefs and Somasutra ／ Ku Pram Cham Sin ： 17Jun2006, 03Oct2009

This ruin is in Ban Nang Ram, A.Phra Thai, C.Nakhon Ratchasima. This ruin is next to Prasat Nang Ram as hospital"Arokayasala" made by Jayavarman 7th. This ruin has a moat, but we can go through the approach pass from east or west. When I visited here in 2009, the moat overflowed at east side. So I approched from west The right picture was taken from northwest. The stones of this ruin are around there at the west. I approached to this ruin from west.   ■Western gopura   Lintel on the western face of the western gopura. This lintel has the relief of "The god Brahma riding on Hansa". Lintel on the eastern face of the western gopura. This lintel has  the relief of "The god Vishnu riding on Garuda". ■Library The right picture is the southern library taken from the eastern gopura. The door flame of the southern liberary.  This lintel of the southern library has the relief of "the hermit Rishi preaching ? ". The hermit Rishi under the entrance of the southern library. The northern library. The lintel of the northern library has the relief of "The god on Kala". ■Three towers(prasats) This ruin has three prasats on the base. The right picture is the northwestern corner of the base. From northwest. We can see three prasats on the base. ■Main tower The right picture is the door flame of the main tower taken from west.  The lintel of the main tower. This lintel has the relief of "The god Indra riding on the elephant with three heads as Airavata" ■Somasutra The Somasutra was on the steps. The outlet of this Somasutra may have the image of Makara's face. ■Southern or Northern tower  The southern tower.  The left door flame is for the main tower. The right door flame is for the northern tower.  This picture was taken from the eastern gopura. The lintel of northern tower.   This lintel has the relief of "The god seating on Kala".  ■Southern or Northern gopura Northern gopura.  The center is the southern gopura. The left is the southern library. ■All over view  This ruin from southwest. The southern gopura over the moat.   From southeast. There are stones of this ruin at east. From east. In visiting in 2009, the moat overflowed the approch pass. From northeast.
